So Rebecca and I just finished watching hotel Rwanda. Heavy heavy Watch! As a culture and society we are blind! We turn a blind eye to the most needing hearts! I can’t believe how ungrateful we are about so many things in life. I feel guilt that I fear spiders and there are children out there who fear for their lives at night! I was lucky that I grew up fearing monsters under the bed because now I know they weren’t real! My heart goes out to the people who help and the people who survive those situations and have to live their lives with the horrific memories that I have seen a glimpse of through a screen. People are cruel but there are also kind people with love and god in their hearts that drive away evil! ‘Being selfless is one of the hardest things to be but so rewarding’ Becca just said that and she is right I hope one day I can help someone maybe even save their lives because if it was my family I would want someone to help and I would go to the ends of the earth to protect them!
Watch the film if you haven’t seen it, massive eye opener. Maybe not at 4am but put it on the film bucket list!
